I can't mix it with VAC, repeating Microsoft Sound Mapper just makes things worse. I'm wondering if that is the issue.īasically my usb headphones are REALLY loud, I have them turned down almost all the way and I still need to lower volume bars on applications so it's not deafening. I can't seem to find anyway to adjust this as everything is really loud through my own speakers. The issue however is that every sound that is not coming through my mic or skype is really really quiet in comparison. It does in fact work, every sound I'd normally hear, plus my own voice, show up on the stream. This essentially takes audio from skype and feeds it to my headphones, while also adding it to my headset mic, and throwing it to Flash Media Live Encoder. This was the Virtual Audio Cable solution I came up with The setup is thisĪt first I couldn't get the other side of the skype conversation to get picked up by FME, so I found Virtual Audio Cable, which I think is the only windows solution aside from a makeshift 2nd mic.
